Grats to the newest Spec Assist - Telum

He will also continue his current work in helping Niko run Group C.
Good luck Telum, thanks for stepping up and for all the hard work you've put in so far.

TG Focus of the Month - DoA Announcement.
by *Father*, 27 days agoNot only another month come and gone for this edition of the GFotM, but a whole year! Happy New Year guardians and defenders.
With this edition I'd like to keep our focus fairly simple. So I'd like to just remind everyone of a few of the principles that this guild was founded on and what has helped carry us for these many years (5 years or so by my calculation...wow).
Here are some quotes from the guild handbook to remind us of some of the most important principles:

The leadership is constantly working on things in order to keep us the best guild around and maintain the most enjoyable environment to make the most of the World of Warcraft. There are changes coming that are intended to do just that. So stay involved, inform us of any problems and we'll keep trying to work on things that need improvement.
Here are a couple of the latest updates:
BIDDING RULE CHANGE. By majority vote the new bidding rules will be the following:
1) Main main spec.
2) Main off spec AND Alt main spec.
3) Alt off spec.
4) DoA rolls.
As it stands, there is no longer a x2 option. If there is enough interest in re-implementing a x2 type of rule, please post here in this thread and we'll start a new vote thread with the different options suggested.
LEADERSHIP CHANGES. Over the many years, Iceman has been an important part of the development of the guild. He has been overall in charge of DoA and we have all been very appreciative of all the work he has put into maintaining the great work that happens there. Lately it have been very difficult for him to keep up with the needs of his demanding role as his RL job has kept him far from home for very long periods at a time. We are glad he can still pop in from time to time to help out as an assistant in DoA, but we have decided to have Konstantinos to step in and take overall command of DoA at this time.
